For this October’s Speak Up Month, our theme is #FTSUforEveryone and we will be focusing on the impact Freedom to Speak Up can bring for safety, civility and inclusion.

If you would like to be part of the national campaign, your contribution will be posted onto our website  and shared on our social media channels on Twitter and LinkedIn. Please get in touch if you would like to get involved.

We will be publishing Speak Up Month special episodes of the Speak Up Listen Up Follow Up podcast and blogs and videos throughout the month, so keep an eye on the NGO news pages.

To celebrate the diversity of the guardian network and to discover more of the people behind the role, we will be sharing Stuck in a Lift style interviews with Freedom to Speak Up guardians on the NGO website throughout October.  If you would like to get involved, please download the template and send it to the NGO comms team.

Getting ready for Speak Up Month webinar

You can catch up on the Lunch and Learn webinar to hear NGO’s plans for the month and ideas of how to raise awareness and increase engagement. We were joined by Tracey Garde, Freedom to Speak Up Guardian at Bolton NHS Foundation Trust, who shared her tips for a successful Speak Up Month.

We did experience some technical issues with the PowerPoint presentation during the webinar however in the recording this has been rectified. You can download the slide deck by clicking here.
