The Freedom to Speak Up Guardian role is complex and the landscape in which you work is constantly evolving.
To support your learning and development and to ensure you are up to date with changes and updates, all Freedom to Speak Up guardians are required to complete Refresher Training annually.
The training for 2024 has been produced for all guardians currently registered with the National Guardian’s Office. This training has also been added as an additional module to Foundation Training and for new Guardians to complete prior to registration.
The 2024 module is titled Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging. This course will support further understanding of equality, equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging, and identify specific barriers workers can face when speaking up. The training is brought to life through cases studies which are focussed on these barriers. The training includes a learning journal to capture reflections and to support additional proactive work.
We anticipate it will take 3 hours to complete. The training is self-paced and have a save and return function.

The module is hosted by Me Learning which is the same platform provider as for previous years, so your current username and password for that platform are still valid.
All Freedom to Speak Up Guardians are required to complete this module by 30 November 2024. When you have completed the training, please update your training log on your Guardian Profile

On completion of Refresher training you are required to enter the date of completion and upload your certificate onto your Training log, in your Guardian Profile.
This is also a great opportunity to update your profile with your demographic details and information about your organisation
